Memorial Woodlands Cemetery

Memorial Woodlands offers families the chance to say a personal, appropriate farewell in the beautiful surroundings of our woodland cemetery, situated in a peaceful valley just outside Thornbury.
Our onsite chapel and reception rooms will be yours for the day to hold whatever kind of service you wish; traditional, ecological, religious or humanist.
If you are arranging a funeral now or making plans for the future, please do come to see our beautiful grounds for yourself and learn about our range of services, funeral plans and woodland memorials. We’ll give you all the time, support and advice you need.

We are a small dedicated group of Street Pastors who patrol in Chipping Sodbury on a Saturday night, supported by a group of Prayer Pastors. We welcome those from local churches who are interested in joining us in either role. We have come together seeking to serve the community, with the intention to Care, Listen and Help.

We meet for prayer, some bible text and good sing song of our favourite praise songs.

We also then have a tea, cake and chat. It will be great to be able to meet up with returning friends and look forward to maybe having some new ones join us after this long and difficult two years.
