A Tudor House built for the pleasure of Henry VIII
Acton Court is believed to be the most original Tudor house in Britain. The East wing was built by Nicholas Poyntz in 1535 for a weekend visit by Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn.
Acton Court is planning to open to the public 22 August to 12 September 2021 for self-guided tours and a Heritage Open Day.

The Tourist Information Centre came into being in 1995 through generous donations from the then Three Parishes Tourism Group.
