Brain Tumour Support’s aim is that no-one feels alone when facing the effects of a brain tumour diagnosis. The charity’s dedicated to being there for patients, carers, friends and families following a brain tumour diagnosis.
They offer an individualised support service which provides specialist information, practical guidance, emotional support, help coping with bereavement and much more.
Crucially, help is there for as long as it is needed, and that can often be years.

Care and support through terminal illness
As the local face of Marie Curie’s fundraising team, fundraising group members donate their time and effort to raise money to help us continue caring for people with terminal illnesses and their families.
Our fundraising groups also act as ambassadors, helping to spread the word about the work of Marie Curie and supporting local people, clubs and organisations to fundraise too.

Based at The Candle
There are families in our community struggling to put food on the table. A sudden crisis - redundancy, benefit delay, your boiler breaking down - can mean having to choose between paying the rent and eating. The foodbank provides emergency food and support to local people in crisis.
Open Tuesdays 2-4pm and Fridays 10am to noon.
