Bristol Advanced Motorists

We are the leading advanced driver charity in the Southwest, committed to raising driving standards, engaging with the road-using public and influencing road safety policy.

We cover an area from Weston-Super-Mare to Gloucester and are affiliated to IAM RoadSmart. Each year we run 4 advanced driving courses; taking 25 to 35 drivers on each. Around 100 drivers go on to take the Advanced Driving Test in Bristol each year.

The Group is dedicated to promoting excellent driving skills through its education programmes and information services. Our aim is to reduce the road fatality and serious injury figures around Bristol by training drivers to the advanced standard.
