Cotswold Historic Road Rally - via Horton
Tavern Motor Club is pleased to present this new event, which is the 2nd Round of the 2021 Motorsport News HRCR Clubmans Road Rally Championship.
The cars will be travelling through the edge of Hawkesbury Upton from 9am, then across Hawkesbury Common, through the edge of Horton, Totteroak and Sodbury Common, then through Little Sodbury and all the cars should be through by 11am at the latest.
All residents on our route would have received a letter on Saturday morning advising that our event was taking place.
The route continues into Wiltshire and across to Malmesbury, up to Cirencester, then returning to the Golf Club around 5pm.
There is also a Clubman event aimed at the more inexperienced competitor, with a complete Roadbook covering the Test, Regularity and Road Sections, so no plotting is required.
Starting and finishing at Cotswold Edge Golf Club, the event will comprise 8‐10 Tests at 3 venues on a variety of surfaces (tarmac, concrete, gravel and a tiny bit of grass) together with 6 Regularities covering around 95 miles in a total route of 165 miles.
First car will start at 8:30am and finish around 5pm.
