Acton Court Tours of House and Grounds
Acton Court, Iron Acton
Acton Court is open to the public Wednesday 28 May to Sunday 29 June 2025 for self-guided audio tours, events and workshops. Closed Mondays & Tuesdays.
Admission to Acton Court gives access to the grounds, the Royal Apartments, the ground floor area and any activities that may be taking place on the day. Audio guides plus visual and written information will be provided.

- Henry VIII and his Tudor Queens - an exhibition of Tudor Court Dress
- Lady Samantha of Tudor Queens Wardrobe will be on site to talk about Tudor Court clothing and answer visitors’ questions
Sunday 22 June 2025
- Mary Macdonald provides a display of Medieval and Tudor plants featuring many native species still grown at Acton Court. Mary is happy to talk to visitors about the plants and their uses.
Wednesdays and weekends (excluding 21-22 June)
- Costumed garden guide Deb Randall will be available on Wednesdays and weekends to show guests around the garden and grounds. Deb is a gardener at Acton Court. She knows the plants and flowers that grow here and specialises in native trees.
Numbers are limited – book early to avoid disappointment.
