Around once a month, we send an email newsletter to anyone who would like to receive it, letting them know what's new on MySodbury - new competitions, new events, and new things to see and do.

The latest newsletter is below, but if you'd like to get your own copy e-mailed to you, sign up here!

Hi Everyone,

It's the start of a new school year, and a chance for all of us to learn something new...

For the very little ones, there's a free taster of Razz Tots, an exciting new class to boost physical and emotional development.

For the grown-ups, there are free introductory sessions on how to play Bridge and how to discover a better version of yourself with Wendy James Hypnotherapy.

Take a history lesson on Heritage Open Days at local sites not usually open to the public, such as Acton Court, and former collieries including Brandy Bottom.

And if you need to find your child's next step on the education ladder, use our round-up of School Open Days to do your homework.

Make time for play too... have fun at the Mop Fair, see the hilarious new stage adventures of Dick Barton, Special Agent, and go retro at fab 208's ultimate 70s night.

Also this month, enter our September competition for the chance to enjoy Sunday Lunch for two at The Swan, Tytherington, dust off your berets and striped jerseys for a French-themed Autumn Celebration Dinner, and get organised with Sodbury Chamber's 2020 'Then and Now' calendar, on sale now!

Find more Autumn antics in and around Sodbury in our events calendar, and let us know what you'd like to advertise.

Best wishes,

Claire
