Around once a month, we send an email newsletter to anyone who would like to receive it, letting them know what's new on MySodbury - new competitions, new events, and new things to see and do.

The latest newsletter is below, but if you'd like to get your own copy e-mailed to you, sign up here!

Hi Everyone,

Help mark the Armistice centenary this November: tour the special exhibition about Chipping Sodbury's fallen soldiers and admire the Poppy Peace Garden at St John's Church, join the Remembrance Day Parade and Service, followed by the lighting of a beacon at The Ridings.

Watch out too for the Sodbury Slog on Remembrance Sunday.

Whatever your musical mood this month, there's something for you, from Bristol Chamber Choir's Concert for Remembrance Tide, through Sodbury Vale Musical Comedy Club's The Last Fifty Years and Greek-born guitarist Andreas Moutsioulis to Swing's the Thing with Clare Teal and her Trio.

Keep the kids happy this month with Archery Tasters, a free Razzamataz taster and Bonfire Night without the Bangs.

How are your Christmas preparations going? Enter our new competition for the chance to win a family ticket to Yate Active Centre's pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk, start present shopping at the By The Woods Craft and Gift Fair, the Traidcraft Christmas Market and the Bullfish Craft and Therapy Fayre, and looking ahead to early December, soak up the festive atmosphere at Chipping Sodbury Victorian Day.

See the events calendar for a memorable month in Chipping Sodbury and let us know what you'd like to advertise.

Best wishes,

Claire
