Festive spirit is alive and well in Chipping Sodbury this December. From twinkling lights on the high street to local Christmas markets, there’s something for everyone, and you'll find it all in our Christmas feature.
Don't miss Chipping Sodbury Christmas Sunday (formerly Victorian Day) - a great opportunity to pick up Christmas presents, enjoy entertainment and soak up the festive atmosphere. Keep an eye out for Santa and his sleigh as they tour Chipping Sodbury - and find unique gifts and festive treats from local shops and businesses at Ye Olde Christmas Shopping Evening.
Put yourself in a merry mood, meet local authors and give someone the gift of reading with a trip to the Hawkesbury Upton Literature Festival Christmas Special. If that inspires you to pick up a pen yourself, book onto the Begin Writing Christmas Workshop.
Also this month, enjoy a Night of Live Music at The Bodkin, a knit your own chunky blanket workshop at Badminton House, and Countdown to Christmas at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall - where singing and dancing in the aisles is welcomed!
Finally, see in the New Year at the Black and Gold Ball and enter our new Aladdin competition for the chance to join Sodbury Players for their January performance of an enchanting pantomime adventure!
