Botanical Perfumery Workshop with Eliza Douglas

Join us for an enchanting fragrance workshop at Badminton House, where you’ll create your own scent to take home and enjoy access to the stunning Art Exhibition: A Garden of Botanical Art.
During the class you will learn about fragrance families and smell many beautiful natural ingredients, such as orange flower absolute, jasmine absolute and bergamot. Some of the essential oils will reference the plants currently grown at Badminton.
There will be a short break in the middle for tea and cake. In the second part of the workshop you will be able to make your own fragrance to take home.
Eliza trained in Grasse and worked for many years in New York for Frederic Malle and Christophe Laudamiel. Through her work at The Art of Fragrance she teaches perfumery online and in person.
Your ticket will also give you access to the new Art Exhibition A Garden of Botanical Art: Paintings from the collection of Mary Somerset, First Duchess of Beaufort – Badminton Estate in the North Hall of Badminton House and around the beautiful gardens.
