Thanks to our volunteers, Chipping Sodbury and Yate St John Ambulance division has been supplying First Aid to local events for several years, from a variety of Athletics at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex to Horton fell runs, Gymkhanas, carnivals and Heritage events.
Providing this vital First Aid is a rewarding and often challenging experience. St John Ambulance as an organisation has helped Badgers, Cadets and Adults to achieve many social and fundamental life skills. Its members are vital to the organisation and in return; members achieve qualifications and confidence and a whole new network of friends.
Members raise funds for charitable causes, enjoy a great social life, have fun and gain fellowship with other Lions clubs. Members come from all walks of life and across a large age range.
Chipping Sodbury Lions Club provides direct service to our community by events such as the Chipping Sodbury Street Fair & Carnival, Christmas Santa Claus float, Golf Day and Carol Concert.
We meet at Shireway Club every 2nd Thursday of the month at 8pm. Now looking for new members/helpers. Please click below or call Tony on 01454 319298 for more information.

Rotary is a club, which aims to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace. We raise funds for local, national and international projects and charities.
We promote and foster friendship and understanding between the people of Sodbury and District and those of Cesson and District in France.
We encourage visits by individuals and groups to and from linked towns and the development of personal contacts. By doing so we aim to broaden mutual understanding of the cultural, recreational, educational and commercial activities of the linked towns.

We are a vibrant organisation with over 4500 members, whose aim is to improve the lot of older people in the South Gloucestershire Area. We enjoy strong support from local Councils and are strictly non-political. We hold regular meetings with speakers on a wide range of subjects pertinent to the needs of older people.
We exist to bring together people from the Chinese communities to identify their needs and try to meet those needs through the setting up of projects. We provide facilities and support in the interest of social welfare and promote culture exchange and harmony in the community.
